Apart from basing (I've at least applied the technical), I've today finished my work on the thunderhammer terminators I bought off a friend. It was an interesting challenge, them being primed black and I've never done yellow on black before.
I won't lie, it takes some patience, but after 4 coats of Averland Sunset and 4 coats of Yriel Yellow, the base coat was completed and satisfying. The key is as plenty of people tell you on the internets, many thin coats instead of dipping them in one big blob.
I've tried a few new things, some worked, some didn't, but I am very happy with the overall result.

I'm happy to have completed this next step in my army and working on my late New Years resolution on what I want to finish this year, but at least my Imperial Fist's 1st Company is near finished now, just a couple of regular terminators missing.
